Years ago, when dustbusters first appeared on the market, my kids teased me about my love for that new kitchen clean up gadget. "Mom's busting again," they would laugh. Now something even better has come into my life: The Swiffer, which is basically a dustbuster on a broom. The previous reviewer just doesn't get what it's for. It's not meant for heavy-duty cleaning, but for instant pick up of crumbs and other small debris. I own a lightweight, high-powered vacuum, but I use it almost exclusively for my carpets. Unless it's time for heavy-duty deep cleaning, it's much much easier to take out the Swiffer Sweep and Vac and in two minutes or less after dinner it makes every crumb disappear. No bending as with a dustbuster or a broom and a dustpan. I have a big apartment and it is almost entirely dark hardwood floors, even in my kitchen, and every little speck shows. No problem with the Swiffer. I get it out and everything is spotless, literally in seconds. Don't know how I ever lived without it.
